Journal Club 3-26-21
This is Journal Club 03/26/21! I hold one every week JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I will present a few that have influenced my life this week. Be safe and stay healthy!
- As you probably know, doctors are often in debt. The main source is of course student loans, but they can come from all possible sources. in the This post from Financial Success MDA doctor shares how she paid off her massive debts very quickly and with success that can be easily replicated.
- Medical disability insurance is a good (and important) way to reduce your liability. But to be honest, it is difficult to choose the right plan. Fortunately, XRAYVSN has provided a helpful guide as well as some information on why you might want disability insurance for yourself.
- For something else, I thought I’d share an article comparing two popular book summary apps. After all, I’m a big believer in constant and continuous learning, and these apps make reading (or listening to) popular books very quick and easy. For a great summary and comparison of Blinkist and getAbstract, check out this article from Five-Year FIRE Escape.
- Traditional wisdom has it that if you are investing in rental properties, it should be somewhere nearby – and certainly in the city you live in. However, as more options become available, out-of-state investments are becoming increasingly popular. But how do you decide which one is best for you? In this article, The Darwinian Doctor explores that very question.
That’s it for this week! Hope the Journal Club 3/26/21 has been helpful to you.
Finally, a little motivation. Have fun and a nice weekend!
