Bharti Airtel is working with Qualcomm for the 5G rollout in India

BENGALURU (Reuters) – Indian telecommunications operator Bharti Airtel announced on Tuesday that it will partner with US chipmaker Qualcomm (NASDAQ 🙂 to roll out 5G services in India.
The country’s second largest telecommunications operator announced that it will use Qualcomm’s 5G RAN platforms to introduce virtualized and open RAN-based 5G networks.
