The Importance of a Sales Funnel System

An effective sales funnel system helps you direct potential customers through the sales process to ensure that they buy from you and remain loyal customers. A business can use sales funnels to figure out how they will grab the attention of their intended audience, overcome objections, make more sales and engage them.

 

1. Attention

This is where you first make your target audience aware about your business as your audience probably don't know about you at all. By placing ads in places where your audience will see them and releasing press releases, writing keyword-rich blog posts, and hosting webinars for free, you can accomplish this. It is crucial to convince potential customers to sign up for your newsletter or follow you on social media because they are interested.


2. Keep them entertained

Now that your prospect has joined your email mailing list, you need to keep them engaged and provide additional worth to them. The goal is to inform your prospects about your services and how they can help them. The information you provide to them could be similar to what you sent them at the time of attention (blog articles, eBooks, etc.). But the content you provide them during this stage should be more specific and relevant.

3. Consider

The prospect is now aware they need the product/service. But, they need more information to help them determine if you're the best product to solve their needs. It is important to understand your audience in this moment. This will allow them to gain a better understanding of the ways your product can help solve their issues and boost the trust they have in your product.

Get testimonials from satisfied customers by using webinars, consultations and product demonstrations.

If you find prospects coming through your funnel, you should immediately start the qualification process. This is where the most action happens. The quicker you can sort the leads, the faster you can move them through the funnel to turn the lead into a sale. You must communicate with prospects at this point.

You can ask them questions about their experience with your site and perhaps ask them for suggestions on how you can do to improve your site. Make their user experience remarkable. Engage them (sometimes known as nurturing). This is the best method to build a loyal customer base in the future.

After they are engaged, you can now provide value to them. It is possible to provide infographics, reports and tip sheets to your prospects. Add value to your customers will make it easier for them to go down the funnel.

Delight everybody! Be sure that your visitors leave your site feeling that they received a lot from you. Do not be apathetic and thank your clients for their time spent interacting with you. This can make your service memorable.

4. Intent

The prospect has already decided to buy the product. The prospect now needs to select the best product that meets their requirements. Blog posts on your site will instill faith in the readers about the superior products and services you offer. An email newsletter can make you stand apart as an authority.

5. Evaluation

Your customer believes that they require your product. In this moment, you're trying to convince your prospect that you're the right person for the job and nobody else. It's possible to do this through a variety of forms of content. These include reports on products and webinars. You may also receive limited time coupons or promotions to help you purchases.

6. Stage to purchase

This is the place where your customer actually purchases. But, your work does not end here. The sales funnel must be opened. The customer must be introduced to your products and placed in a new sales funnel. Customers who have purchased from you before are more likely than others to purchase from you again because they trust you and can believe that you can solve their problems.
